I hate this hacker crap.

It's been a long day at work. It's hot and I'm tired and overwhelmed. I'm weary on many levels and I've just paid for three expensive car repairs that have eaten through my savings like a flamethrower in butter.

So what do I find in my email today when I get home?

"I'm going to send it to your nine contacts."

Wow, dude, seriously.

I'm no stranger to these kinds of threats from these kinds of losers; thanks to the protest a year back, I already have a cartoon ready to use for these pathetic excuses for humanity. I think we're dealing with someone who looks like panel #6 for sure.

So, first I headed to the FBI, reported the email, and then to other various law enforcement entities.

Then I responded back to this cretin.

  1. Your choice of pet names for him was far too gentle.

    1. I thought I'd let Jurassic Park clips do the swears. :-O

  2. Ive got same email. Scared to death. But later found that it was just a hoax.

    1. About a year ago we had a protest near where I live and unfortunately, I got used to thousands of people around the world targeting me and others in the community with a variety of online garbage behavior, including hacking, bullying, blackmail, threats, etc. I saw this one and it just made me angry more than anything.

  3. I'd love to know what their response is.

  4. Today I received a similar email.
I hope this bastard gets caught!!!

I will cut to the chase. I do know ab-34-rw is your password. Moreover, I know your secret and I have proof of your secret. You do not know me and nobody paid me to examine you.

It is just your misfortune that I discovered your misadventures. The truth is, I actually setup a malware on the adult vids (sex sites) and you visited this web site to experience fun (you know what I mean). While you were watching video clips, your internet browser initiated working as a Rdp (Remote control desktop) having a key logger which provided me access to your display screen and webcam. After that, my software obtained your complete contacts from your social networks, and mailbox.

I then gave in much more hours than I probably should have exploring into your life and created a two view video. 1st part shows the video you were viewing and next part displays the video from your webcam (its you doing inappropriate things).

Frankly, I want to forget everything about you and allow you to get on with your regular life. And I will offer you two options which will achieve that. The above choices to either ignore this letter, or just pay me $3600. Let us explore those two options in more detail.

Option One is to ignore this email message. Let us see what will happen if you pick this option. I will definately send out your video recording to your entire contacts including close relatives, colleagues, and many others. It doesn't help you avoid the humiliation your family will face when relatives and buddies learn your dirty videos from me.

Option 2 is to send me $3600. We will name this my “confidentiality tip”. Now let me tell you what happens if you choose this path. Your secret remains your secret. I'll destroy the video immediately. You keep your life as if nothing ever happened.

At this point you must be thinking, “I should call the cops”. Without a doubt, I've taken steps to ensure that this email message can't be traced time for me and it will not steer clear of the evidence from destroying your health. I am not seeking to dig a hole in your pocket. I am just looking to be compensated for time I put into investigating you. Let's assume you decide to create this all disappear completely and pay me the confidentiality fee. You will make the payment by Bitcoins (if you don't know this, search "how to buy bitcoins" in google)

    Required Amount: $3600
Bitcoin Address to Send to: 19aJnFC6UdNjiMRtP766hVsn7Wg4KXQHbZ
(It is CASE sensitive, so copy and paste it)

Tell nobody what you will be transferring the bitcoin for or they will often not provide it to you. The method to have bitcoin usually takes a few days so do not wait.
I've a special pixel within this mail, and right now I know that you've read through this e mail. You now have two days in order to make the payment. If I do not receive the Bitcoin, I definitely will send out your video recording to all your contacts including friends and family, coworkers, and so on. You better come up with an excuse for friends and family before they find out. However, if I do get paid, I will destroy the video immediately. It's a non negotiable offer, thus please do not ruin my time and yours. Your time is running out.

  5. Just got this same email today - I'm guessing nothing happened to you after the "72 hour" threat window??? How did you report this email? I would like to do the same.

    1. I just went to the FBI website and located where you can report online stuff like this. Don't have the URL handy just now. I'm sure they got a bunch, so I don't expect anything to come from it. But I wanted to be able to honestly say I'd done that when I responded back to the jerk.

  6. Got the same email tonight, almost word for word. My payment request was $7000 paid in 24 hrs or else...

  7. Got the same email tonight, almost word for word, they wanted $7000 or else...Your blog popped up on Google....glad I caught it....I was trying to figure out the bit coin thing, with no success.

  8. I have something similar two days ago. Thing is my GF is an actual hacker (you know who can provide help for people and companies to improve security, the sort of person who is paid professionally to test not a talentless hack who gets an old password from a leak forum and uses it to get blackmail.
