You’ve a nice voice. Only the teeniest bit o’ NCAE creeps in, when you pronounce anything like a long O, as in “home.” But it’s pretty endearing, frankly.
My sister-in-law from Minnesota says the Rosetta Stone, the pronunciation key or whatever for this dialect is the phrase, “Smoking or non?” in the requisite Swedish (Norwegian?) sing-song. She says if you can master that, you can move on to “Hot dish. You betcha!”
